Hey folks! I have a fixture plate that uses a bunch of hex-head socket cap screws, and I find the them really annoying. If I use a normal hex bit to drive the bolts then they are a bit fussy with alignment and sometimes the bit will jam in the socket head and require a bunch of wiggling to free it.

I prefer fully threaded for 2 reasons. 1, If I'm using a bolt to hold a fixture down I don't want to run into the deformed thread. 2. I can screw the stud against the bottom the slot so it stays in place while changing parts. 80% of my many T nuts are incompletely threaded, and I wind up digging through a hundred nuts to find a set of 4 fully .
